Announcing Booth
Is it just me or does anyone else find that Chris Singleton speaks for an annoyingly long amount of time? So many times a play will be over there maybe a quick cutscene sometimes not and I can be one or two pitches into the next at bat and he's still going on about the previous play. Is anyone else annoyed by this?“Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

Re: Announcing Booth
no. its more immersive and natural that way. that's television broadcast presentation not radio broadcast where every play has to be mentioned so that the listener can know whats happening on the field.
I used to hate the fact that a comment or dialog would cut out because a play was over. -

Re: Announcing Booth
I’ve turned all commentary off ever since SDS made the terrible decision to get rid of the option to turn each guy in the booth on or off.Comment

Re: Announcing Booth
agree, just my opinion, but I would much prefer only a single play by play announcer doing just the nuts and bolts of the game. Even better, they could use an in house no name guy as the announcer, and have him continuously record mountains of dialogue.Comment

Re: Announcing Booth
When I have commentary on, I wait until Chris and Boog are done talking before I start my next windup. When I'm at bat, I hold R2 until they are done, to keep the CPU pitcher from pitching. And I have also found that one weird trick also helps build my patience at the plate and I can usually get at least 3 or 4 walks per game.T-BONE.
