Is the game biased against/for certain hitters?

So I am 2 seasons into a franchise with the Braves and have had no trouble hitting with most of the roster and most of their statistics are reasonably close to their real life counterpart. The exception to this is Sean Murphy. Unless I somehow get a perfect perfect with him, I cannot do anything at the plate with him. Even when I simulate (and I simulate 5 games for every 1 I play), his stats are still awful. He has like 85 contact, 95 power vs RHP and 99 contact and power against LHP. His vision and discipline are 56 and 84 respectively. Despite this, players like Austin Riley and Eddie Rosario who have lower vision and worse offensive attributes across the board had much better seasons than him in 2023. He hit between .190 and .200 for most of the season and didn’t hit for much power. I’ve noticed when I play games and am hitting with him, I get punished especially hard for not squaring up the PCI perfectly or getting timing just right. I can get hits with terrible PCI placement with a lot of other guys in the team, but Murphy just pops up everything or hits a weak grounder unless it’s perfectly squared up. On top of that, he also seems to have awful BABIP luck in the game compared to other players. I have a barreled out with him almost every game I play. So all this to ask, is the game biased against certain players? I played franchise last year too and noticed this exact same thing happening with Murphy. He’s literally a 99 overall in my franchise with like a .600 OPS despite great offensive attributes (and he has a 158 wRC+ this season in real life). Does anyone else see this kind issue with other players?

I'm not using the Braves, but in my franchise (102 games in), he's got an .811 OPS and 18 HR for the Braves.

On every outcome of every pitch, the game uses a host of information (ratings, user input) in an algorithm to determine the outcome of that pitch. The game in using this algorithm does not know that its Sean Murphy up to bat or any other player.

So no the game is not biased against, nor towards, any one particular player.
