Anyone have John Sterling's home run call and willing to sell?
I'm willing to buy but I don't see any available on the market and I've checked every day this past week. Does anyone have one that they would sell to me?Tags: None -
Re: Anyone have John Sterling's home run call and willing to sell?
Is it actually listed on the market (just with none available for sale) or is it not listed on the market at all (like it doesn't even show-up)?
If the latter, that means it is not sellable and is either a collection reward or tied to a program.Play the games you love, not the games you want to love. -

I think it is listed. So I click on my profile picture in the upper left corner, go to my collection, then my inventory, then my unlockables. From there I scroll to no doubt home run calls and it's listed there. There are several there that I could straight out buy right now if I wanted them. John Sterling's "It is gone" has none available though, with A LOT of orders for people looking for it. I would make an order higher than any of the existing ones but I'm afraid someone will just see mine and do the same thing and make their bid 10 higher and I will just never get it.Comment

And there's no way of a person "selling you" the card without posting to the market.Play the games you love, not the games you want to love.Comment

There is if someone has it and tells me they will sell it to me. Then we can plan a time and I can post the highest bid at that time and they can sell it then.Comment

I think waiting for someone on this board to say they have it and then setting up a bid is probably a waste of time. Not many folks on here play DD, so you likely won't get many takers. I think you'd be better off just placing the highest bid now and checking in periodically to see if you need to up itChicago Cubs

Why not just place the highest bid now? If you’re concerned about being outbid (though I don’t know that the market for announcer audio cards moves that quickly), offer a little more than you normally would.Comment

I'd pay cash money to never have to hear his goofy calls. You want free speech?
Let's see you acknowledge a man whose words make your blood boil, advocating at the top of his lungs that which you would spend a lifetime opposing at the top of yours.Comment

Re: Anyone have John Sterling's home run call and willing to sell?
I have it, but the one time I tried to sell a card to a friend that I was literally facetiming with at the same time he didn't get it and it was far less in demand so if that didn't work I highly doubt there's any way to coordinate it so that you'd get it. It's not a great call anyway. I know you're not going for great calls necessarily, but just wait, demand will eventually taper.Comment
