If 24 Only Adds Carry Over Saves will you buy

I am curious if the only main addition to mlb the show 24 was being able to have carry over saves is that enough for you to buy it?

I am sure they will have some minor graphic updates and some animations but to me that is a given

I am curious about the major updates. Adding back carry over saves would be that kind of update. But would you then purchase? Or would you stay with 23

I think the chances of Y2Y saves returning next year are basically zero. Instead I think you will likely see another major area of focus much like scouting and the draft were for ‘23.

Having said that yes I would purchase if that was the only major upgrade

I personally do not see the value of them adding back Y2Y saves from a business standpoint. I mean I only asked as a lot of people seem to request it. but I am willing to guess while some say they do not buy the new version due to it not having Y2Y save the companies bottom line suggest otherwise so no need to add it.

I’m not going to pretend to know the financial impact that Y2Y has or doesn’t have on the company bottom line.

What I can say is that as an avid fan of Y2Y saves and wanting it re-added, in my discussions with them the reasons why it’s likely to not be brought back is due to the complexity of adding new features, such as the draft and scouting, and being able to get it to mesh with previous versions

Yeah I don’t know jack about it either tbh but I don’t buy this. It’s a roster file with some saved stats at the end of the day. They could make it work if they wanted to. They don’t want to.

I have no idea, But I will say this if I had to choose between them spending resources on carrying over saves or spending those resources on continuing to improve franchise mode I am taking improve franchise mode 100% of the time

Y2Y saves was the only reason (some years) where I would buy the next years game. If they brought it back, I would consider purchasing it again. For me as a RttS player, I cannot fathom having to restart a career every single iteration like we did before 2014.

Y2Y saves are a must imho, I'm in my 2nd season, playing every game.

Having gamepass, thankfully I don't have to buy it. Although I could see myself buying 23 after it leaves GP and just keep playing my current franchise.

I'm sure they COULD, but it's probably not worth the effort cost wise. It's business so if not enough people use Y2Y saves then they probably won't spend resources on it.

yeah, i would. Y2Y saves was one of the best things about the Show. Being able to carry over my created players and the story that was written in previous iterations was so fun. I hope it comes back and makes its way to other sports games eventually.

I will buy if they bring that feature back.

At the very least we should be able to port rosters forward.

I'm still holding out hope for a PC release. I think that is our best hope as far as curing our roster ills.
