    Is PS5 '23 optimized for PS5 console?

So I ask this because I am using my PS4 game with my new PS5 console. Game looks are runs beautiful, would there be any reason to pick up a PS5 copy when they come on sale again?

No not really, unless you're just really wanting the stadium creator.

The game is largely the same, maybe a little smoother. If the price drops down into that $10 range as it sometimes does late in the yeat, then it *might* be worth it. But like the other poster says the main difference is the stadium creator. If you like the way it plays on PS4, you'll like the way it plays on PS5 slightly more....but at that point it may just be worth waiting till 24 comes out

I miss the days when sports games really innovated especially when newer hardware is on market. The Show should have left ps4 behind after year 1, to try and recover console ps5 shortages due to covid.
