For sure the layers and color blocking are an issue. How only have the same 11 colors to choose from is beyond me lol But I think there is like 7 -8 layers of color blocking on their cleats. NBA 2k has over 30 for some shoes . I think the biggest issue with color blocking is just not having enough layers.

How we don't have a color wheel in 2025 is beyond comprehension. So many players wear powder blue or pink accessories and all we get to replicate that some weird light blue that is no where near powder blue, and neon hot pink that no one wears. I don't think they've added any new colors in at least 10 years.

I really wish this is the year we can set Fielding Gloves to Team Colors 1/2/3

I'm tired of seeing a Red glove on the Seattle Mariners

I also am hoping all new equipment is in the game Day 1.
I do all of my equipment edits before starting my franchise and when new equipment is added during the year it messes with a large number of players where the equipment looks odd or the coloring is off

This is the problem I have with them adding stuff throughout the year. I do the same and edit my rosters before I start franchise, and then they keep replacing stuff and you have to spend time going through and fixing it. I would be fine if they would add stuff, but they replace something with everything they add. I hate how they've done equipment since 2022.

It most likely won’t. They put in new equipment when the companies allow them to add it, usually when it goes out for retail. They are usually a little late with it as well, but prob won’t get them until mid summer.

I don't think those are the Trout 6. Likely just some other new cleat

Hopefully things change come official launch 3/18 because equipment is 99% the same as MLB 24.... I think 3 new cleats were added but no new batting gloves, fielding gloves, etc.

Still debating on getting the game. Did they add anymore stuff for the official release?

No, equipment only gets added via patch since game is released now.

I know in prior years the first big patch usually adds the most stuff...I thought that happened at launch but maybe it was shortly after

At this point I don't forsee any new brands being added, but maybe there are some new models of existing equipment brands

We really need the low version of the Nike Huarache cleats.... irl id say over 50% of players wear the low cut version.

Oh yes for sure over 50%, I bet close to 75%.

We know they can add the Low version because they added it last year during the All Star game.... I thought for sure we'd get this year because Skenes wears those exact cleats.

Lol... Wouldn't go that far to say not to add them, we DEFNITELY need the Low version in the game!
