I'm guessing yes. I'm also guessing we won't know until a year from today.T-BONE.

Re: Last Year on PS4?
PC players should probably hope so. Dont think they will devote resources to a PC version when they are about to make big changes to the games engine. Even then probably looking at another few years.
Until then it's one of the rare non PC games on Game Pass.Comment

Better question is how many years away is the PS6 and if its only 2 or 3 maybe they wait for that system?Mets Baseball, All Day Every Day

Re: Last Year on PS4?
It depends on Nintendo. If the Switch 2 releases this year, maybe. If it doesn't, there will be last gen again next year.

Re: Last Year on PS4?
I ended up just going back to playing at the Coliseum. I kinda doubt I'll use stadium creator at all in 24 unless it's been massively upgraded, which seems unlikely. Maybe for the minors again. But that's a pretty minor (no pun intended for me) thing, as I don't play a ton of minor league games.

Re: Last Year on PS4?
Eh. I actually found myself not even using the stadium creator towards the end of last year. I was really happy with how the stadium I made for the A's looked, but when it came time to actually play games, it just didn't feel right. The gigantic foul territories (even the Coliseum, with bullpens on the field, still has an actual LF/RF corner), no ads, distance markers, or scoreboards on the OF walls, totally blank backstops, the lack of any depth on any of the walls (especially brick walls), lack of team branding anywhere, all combined to just make it feel kinda empty to me. On top of that, custom stadiums screw up Outfielder depth (they play way too shallow).

Unfortunately I don't think SDS realizes the raw potential of the mode to create detailed realistic parks. With a handful of meaningful changes/upgrades (aforementioned foul territory/bullpen stuff, wall ads and distance markers, custom signage, colorable simple objects, standing room fans, etc.), the mode could really take off into something truly special for those of us that strive for realism. But it seems like they think people are only interested in making zany novelty parks with monsters and dinosaurs. And the fact that parks are now transferable to next years game leads me to believe nothing significant has been done. I would love to be proven wrong.Comment

Re: Last Year on PS4?
I'm starting to feel this way too. The Stadium Creator was the thing that got me to buy a PS5 a few years ago, and was truly incredible as a starting point for the mode and I have sunk countless hours into it. And while they have done a decent job adding to the props list, not updating the functionality beyond a few QOL changes over the past going-on-3 years is really holding it back. Until they are able to update the way the foul territory and bullpens work, its almost not worth the effort anymore. Just that would make 24 and instant day 1 buy for me. (I didn't end up getting 23 until October).
