So MTO and Franchise are still seperate modes, but some features are being brought over to Franchise from MTO. Intriguing.

I don't think that's going to mean less gameplay (unless you WANT it to mean that) because if that were the case then the two modes would be virtually the same thing.

I don't think that's going to mean less gameplay (unless you WANT it to mean that) because if that were the case then the two modes would be virtually the same thing.

What do you expect? I’ve never even touched MTO. What could be in it that would benefit/augment franchise mode?

did I read that right? as a team manager??? so now we can create our own managers in franchise mode?? or just use a current manager?? I hope we can use all 30 of them !

or is this just a way to say that we can manage our own team as usual and nothing has changed?? they used to term 'team manager

Good catch. Even if we could do just the team we control, or……..if you do 30 team control you can edit all the managers.

I hope it means we get to have the gm features from the early years of the show when we could set up transportation budgets and field maintenance, ticket , food and team merchandise prices. Created or editing managers would also be cool.

I think you're reading too much into this. I think all of these descriptions are just generic placeholders that are pretty vague.

I think all this means is that you can manage your team like you always have, (roster building, in game management, etc..)

I really don't think this is alluding to anything more than that.

But we will see as information rolls out over the next few weeks.

Oh my God, if we can finally create/edit coaches in this game I might just die of happiness. I’ve been BEGGING for this for like 15 years at this point.

The potential to play as the Yankees and not have a coach with a beard or wearing an incorrect/retired number would really improve the presentation quality for me.

Please let this be true!

I believe there’s something to that “team manager” statement. Don’t think I’ve heard franchise referred to in that way, those two words.

Thank you for finding this. I was mentioning this picture in another thread where people have stated that we “haven’t seen anything”. Aside from the renovations, the hair looks improved. Pretty much the same otherwise

I didn't say that, I was saying that I think its MLB The Show 24 on next gen since those renovations on the side weren't in MLB The Show 23.
