Face Scans

Was just sitting here thinking. Since SDS can do Face Scans wouldn't it be awesome if someday you could do the same in A show version??

I mean, take a quality face photo, have some kind of program to digitalize it and you can edit it and put it into the game.

Since I'm working on my college roster THAT would be a TREMENDOUS help trying to get these faces close.

Any thoughts?

They actually added a feature to do that through the MLBTS app in 23 - you just take a selfie in the app and upload it - however you can only use the face scan on your RTTS player, you can't just apply it to any create a player.

Would definitely be cool if they expanded it to roster-editing, but I'm not really sure that's a priority with this particular feature

You actually can u do the scan your face part then just go into your player and write the numbers down etc and apply it to other created players etc….So scan your friends, relatives faces then write the numbers down lol

It's been a while since I uploaded mine so I could just be misremembering, but I thought they just kept everything at 50 with your base scan and you could adjust from there....

There’s numbers to them I did mine just for kicks to add normal to my own personal created version using the scan numbers etc.

It would be so sick if we could just take photos of random people and add them to franchise mode though. The realism would be top tier (and the memes)

I managed to use Face Scan on an historic player by blowing up a picture of the player to a full page and then using Face Scan on it with my phone. I did have to clean it up a bit, but it worked pretty well. Unfortunately, as indicated, I could only use it in RTTS. I could not move the player to Franchise or upload it into the vault.
