MLB The Show 24 -- What Gameplay Changes to Expect?

Game play changes what could consumers expect? Wished they could add scouts attending college games to get on point scouting. Meaning you don't have access of playing those games but you're the scout in the stand with a radar gun and taking notes. Just a suggestion.

game play changes I'd like to see:
    1. quick counts-add 0-0,1-0,0-1 counts-also go back to deducting a pitch thrown after every batter.
    2. fielding: more imperfect bobbles/over throws/short hop throws/bad routes to fly balls/less OF ability to
be in perfect fielding position on hits/can't get a grip- animation delay etc.
    3. like the HR rob feature-a foul pop near the stands rob feature-i.e. "will he have room drifting
    over..reaches out….type foul balls
    4. more drop in bloop type hits i.e. 3 fielders converging type
    5. IF gets too easily to, and catches bloops and pop ups over their heads.
    6. 1B- I feel always digs out short hop throws, not realistic
    7. seems no matter the umpire setting, way more borderline strikes are called balls than vice versa,
    not realistic
    8. outfielders ability to go back on balls over their heads, as fast as they come in, is not realistic
    9. IF cutoffs on extra base hits not optimally aligned, also CPU throws home, or to 3rd too often w/o any
chance of an out, makes taking extra base too easy.
10.every play at the plate, the throw is either wildy off line, or to the catchers throw side where they do a
sweep tag, needs more realistic throw/catch/tag animations. Where is the "airmail" throw error from
the OF? or short hop throw from the OF that gets bobbled?
    11. down the line hard hit extra base hits, too often the OF gets to it before it gets in the corner, even
when hit to the opposite field-totally unrealistic.

      - The odd line drive double play would be nice (not just when it's lined to first and the guy gets doubled off because he's already leading off and the 1B is basically on the bag)
      - The pitch count when playing quick counts adds up way too quickly. Pitchers are at 100+ pitches by the fifth, it seems.
      - Not gameplay, per se, but it's awfully hard to see the ball out of the pitcher's hand during day games at some parks, there's gotta be a way to fix that

I’ve been hoping they change this for years, but there is a camera stutter anytime there is a bad throw made. It’s really subtle, but it takes the excitement out of an error happening because you already know the throw is off line.

For those that don’t notice, if there’s going to be a throwing error, you will see a little stutter in the camera as soon as the ball is released from the fielder.

This has been in the game forever. It's a tell tale sign to keep your runners moving!

Difficult to say what we can expect since little info released.

The thread will turn into another "wishlist" until SDS release gameplay changes and improvements.

Its long overdue Sony kick it up a notch and take Quick Counts next level. You should be able to choose what percentage you see of each count. Something I'd probably pick:
              35% 2-2
              10% 1-1
              10% 0-1
              10% 1-0
              5% 3-2
              5% 2-1
              5% 1-2
              5% 0-2
              5% 2-0
              5% 0-3
              5% 0-0

Or if I want to choose 100% 3-2. I should be able to choose any percentage distribution I like. Sony could still give their recommendation to stich with the default generated count for better gameplay, but if the end-user wants a different gameplay experience, even if it screws everything up, that should be our choice.

Not really gameplay related but something very simple I’d like to see is not knowing a HR is a HR right off the bat while on defense. If you play with the ball tracker, it doesn’t show at all on HR… only when there’s a rob HR chance. I can understand the no doubters, but on a regular HR, I’d like to see the ball tracker appear on the field, gradually go deeper to the wall, and eventually disappear when the ball goes over the wall

                  Ummm…

Being able to use custom cameras online.

Bringing back the old player lock camera that would have your player actually look up at the ball in the air instead of showing a spot of the ground to run to.

Making the pci literally just the bat so if you swing and don’t touch the ball with the bat, you whiff.
