I must admit, you guys are so eagle-eyed! It's impressive!

A recap of details that I completely missed:

- jersey sleeve ads for MLB teams
- hair physics (I'm curious to see how well this works for different hair types)
- LED ribbon updates
- home run celebration headwear

One thing I didn't see mentioned that I think I saw was the updated Nike uniform templates. I saw that the MLB logo was moved down lower from the neckline on jerseys.

Yes, they included the new uniform chassis/template with the MLB logo below the headspoon.

Yes, they included the new uniform chassis/template with the MLB logo below the headspoon.

They didn’t actually update the uniform templates, all they did was move the MLB logo down like you pointed out to replicate the look, but they didn’t make any changes to the actual jerseys themselves you can tell the plackets and sleeves are still the same version of jerseys we’ve had for the past 10+ years. They didn’t update the pants to the new Nike versions either unfortunately.

They didn’t actually update the uniform templates, all they did was move the MLB logo down like you pointed out to replicate the look, but they didn’t make any changes to the actual jerseys themselves you can tell the plackets and sleeves are still the same version of jerseys we’ve had for the past 10+ years. You are correct. That's not that new, cheap-looking material that players are complaining about.

I agree I don’t like them either, but if that’s what they’re wearing on the field then that’s what should be in the game. NBA 2k and Madden have no issues with scanning and putting in the latest uniform templates into their games but somehow it’s been an issue to do in The Show for the past decade.

I do love their passion for the Negro Leagues mode and I’m looking forward to playing season 2, but it would have been nice to see more gameplay from the mode in there instead of 90 mins of mostly talking and nothing else.

I suspect we’ll get a gameplay trailer on Tuesday and then a gameplay/presentation feature premiere on Thursday next week.

An hour plus of a premier and 3 minutes of actual gameplay for a video game is a realllly bad way to please fans IMO.

The showed us actual gameplay for 3 minutes and 1 second (4.72%) of total air time.

An hour plus of a premier and 3 minutes of actual gameplay for a video game is a realllly bad way to please fans IMO.

Yeah, gameplay has always been a major focus in a single feature premiere and I expect that to happen again this year. I always look forward to the gameplay improvement when they discuss and show them. And SDS does a good point in breaking down and explaining the gameplay changes and how they're improved from the previous year.

Finally had a chance to watch the premiere. Love me some Bob Kendrick. I could listen to him tell stories for hours. So well spoken and comes across as such a gentleman.

While I understand many just want to see gameplay already (me included). I think the inclusion of the Negro League players is so important.

I’ve never considered myself racist but I would fully admit I am race tired. I get tired of the conversation.

But this feature and men like Mr. Kendrickand Ramone are bringing positive vibes forward to fight racism rather than just complaining about the past.

Well worth the hour of our time in my opinion.

While I do think this feature premiere dragged on a bit at times, I concur that this was a good hour spent while I was running errands to hear about the magnificent impact this mode has had on people.

I've been telling my wife for some months now that I want to plan a trip to visit KC to sepcifically visit the NGL Museum. It would be time very well spent (I love learning about history and couple that with baseball, it's even better). I do hope that we'd be able to met and speak with the great Bob Kendrick!

The names on the jerseys are more arched than they have been in years past. Doesn’t look like that was replicated. Really all they did was move the MLB logo down.

Right it appears they’ve only moved the mlb logo and that’s it. Really disappointing that all of the other major sports games care about the attention to detail by scanning in the latest uniform templates whereas The Show developers seem to be okay with their decade old outdated templates. Hopefully they’ll be updated by the time the game goes gold but I’m not getting my hopes up.

The Nationals have a new alternate this season that is a pullover. I’m guessing that will be the normal template with the buttons instead of an actual pullover in the game. 100% This. It's not the player models that need to change, its the uniform template. It simply doesn't look good anymore and there's no variation.

I could listen to Bob Kendrick talk baseball for hours. That being said, I found this Feature Premiere to be a bit underwhelming. The mentioning of Seasons was a bummer, for me, as I was not a fan of them in last years game. As an "offline" DD player, I want to be able to play content at my pace, not be forced to complete stuff within a time limit or be locked out of it.

It’s still crazy to me that we’re less than a month away now from early access and other than the few bits of gameplay we saw from the Negroleagues mode and the opening video, we have nothing in the way of gameplay.
