That list used to be much MUCH larger.

This really comes off as a refined version of last year.

Which is fine for me. I thought 23 gameplay was as good as it gets. But that’s my opinion.

I’m still hyped for the game but I’d just like to know if and what has changed for franchise and RTTS. At least fix the damn bullpen logic.

There is an entire list of gameplay improvements. So, there's that.

So things that shouldve already been in the game?
Take care of this stuff 1st before adding Story lines or whatever!

Yeah the list was larger because they were building on what they had. What I read seems like they continue to refine things.

Since we’re getting gameplay and Diamond Dynasty blogs this year it seems, instead of Feature Premieres, it makes me wonder what the other FP’s will be now. I’m hoping they’re saving something big. An improved, more cinematic RTTS experience would be amazing.

Not a ton of new stuff from the trailer, we've seen most of those clips in the pre-stream intro video already. But still good to see.

Not a ton of new gameplay stuff which I am ok with as gameplay is already a strength. Intrigued about the pinpoint adjustments. I've felt that mechanic is just a little bit too easy to master so making certain pitches more difficult is a plus. New Animations are cool..nothing sexy but it they do often make the game feel smoother.

Don't think this really swings me one way or the other, ill probably purchae, but i dont think im gonna do early access. Hopefully we get a 3rd party gameplay deep dive/review some time this week since there's no stream on Thursday.

Finally got rid of the plastic hair, and new animations. I thought the animations last year really made the game enjoyable.

You can look at the trailer all you want, but until you have the game in hand, I know I will feel the difference between 23 and 24.

I can't believe people are actually touting hair physics.
They added 400 animations (which they claim every single year yet I still see the exact same animations for years).
They flipped lefty pinpoint pitching gestures.
And they refined gameplay.
Yet the trailer shows info we've already known and seen.

Their entire gameplay explanation could've been summed up by saying, "we changed very little because we know our gameplay is good so we focused on negro leagues and storylines and allowed hair to move, so please buy our game because we do this for you."

Wow this really felt like I was just reading some patch notes. Don’t get me wrong I already love where the gameplay was at last year but I’m really starting to question what exactly they were working on this year. Really hoping for some big improvements to franchise and presentation in the coming weeks but I’m not holding my breath. But with the information we have as of now it’s absolutely insane that SDS thinks they can charge us $70 for these marginal improvements. It’s so disappointing that this is what’s become of this franchise.

Truth to that. At times in the past I’ve really not been impressed, esp. with the marketing. But, until you actually see the game at home is a big difference. I’m still seeing new animations in 23 I hadn’t seen earlier in my franchise.

11 months after MLBTS23 released, I was still thoroughly enjoying how the game played on the field. Which some may say is the most important part of a baseball sim video game.

If they announced a slew of new on-field mechanics, there'd be a ton of speculation on how that'd affect an already excellent part of the game.

I'm content with refined animations and re-worked Pinpoint
