No I definitely agree. I'm in the camp that has VERY few issues with presentation/graphics. It's just that handful of repeating stories that starts to get annoying after 12 months lol.Boston Red Sox

I agree with the spirit of what you’re saying and I’m not an AI enthusiast by any means. But it’s going to be a part of society sooner rather than later. The cat’s already out of the bag on this one.Last edited by Circle the Wagons; 03-03-2024, 10:54 PM.Comment

Usually yes, but in this case AI would be your friend. These announcers have other jobs you know.

It really depends on what team you use. Like, I use the Braves and he doesn't really have any repeating lines or stories for the Braves. But yeah, using the Yankees and Red Sox would be tough to hear that all the time.Follow me on Twitch

AI would be perfect for sports video game commentary though. It would give the commentators some kind of actual awareness to the current game being played, which would add an enormous amount of variety.
I mute 'em anyway cause I wanna feel like I'm playin the game on the field and not watchin a game on TV.

Same here. I keep commentary on for one game a week, one of the weekend games. I feel like I can hear enough in 26 games a season, as a way to combat the repetitive. I tell you, I'm not crazy about Alex Miniak either though as stadium public address announcer. Mike Carlucci will always be my guy.Originally posted by MLB14I mute 'em anyway cause I wanna feel like I'm playin the game on the field and not watchin a game on TV.Comment

Singleton still trying to gaslight me in 24. They can't stop, and no they won't stop.
Whenever Singleton says that (or something similar), he says it in a way like he's making a vague pop culture reference to a song or a movie or something going over my head. But he's making me effing bat**** crazy trying to read into something that may or main't even be there. I don't miss Plesac or DeRo yet. But I'm awful close.Comment

I wish each commentator had their own audio slider like in the past. I used to mute the color commentary guys and just keep Matty V on. Most of his talk didn't get old, it's the color commentary that gets old quick.Comment
