Do you think they test new gameplay tweaks to previous years version before launch?

As my long subject line eludes to - do you think they test out their new gameplay tweaks in the last month prior to new release?

I ask because I fired up MLB the Show 23 yesterday and it just felt different (and better). The ball seems to be coming off the bat differently that felt more true to the timing of my swing and the placement of the pitch. For instance, I hit a low inside fastball for a HR to center right field but it was a low line drive blast. In my of my hits the trajectory was more line drive screamers than I can remember.

Also, the opposition AI hit a couple low gap doubles to the wall, which I hardly ever remember seeing playing the show 23 most of last season.

No chance they do this. From a developmental view it would be a total nightmare.

    Likely just placebo.

I'm sure they do, but they usually make tweaks to the game in the months following release. Usually tightening up gameplay and graphics.

Also, they said there won't be changes in hitting between 23 and 24.
