The right field scoreboards (among things) have never been right at CPB. But sure, let's blame in on adding women. It took them how many years to remove the giant Phillies billboard in the parking in center field?

Re: MLB The Show 24 Ratings Preview and Some Features Discussed
When something in a modern stadium gets updated it should be SDS number #1 Priority to get those updates in MLB The Show ASAP!!!
A whole you advance notice should be more then enough time to get these new updates in the game!
This is the kind of stuff that SDS is really really is lazy about

Argh, here we go with “lazy” again. None of us know the difficulty of putting this game together. It’s not copy and paste.
It’s not a perfect world.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 24 Ratings Preview and Some Features Discussed
You even negated your own complaint. The score board was updated in 2023 and not updated in the game in 2023. So it went all last year without being updated. There were no women in Road to the show last year. Comerica Park had huge bushes blocking the front row all last year and it wasn't fixed. Again, no women. As I mentioned before, it took them years to remove the giant billboard at CBP in versions with no women. You're literally just looking for something to blame the new Road to the Show mode own. Stadiums have NEVER been 100% perfect in the show. Sometimes updates get patched in, sometimes they don't. Your also making your judgement on an early build game clip and not the finished product.
I'm not even sure what your complaint is about the scoreboard. It's in the correct location and looks appropriately sized. Sure, the statistical layout might not reflect real life but none of the scoreboards are 100% accurate. Especially with the new LED scoreboards teams can change the layout every week if they wanted to.Last edited by PhlliesPhan6; 03-06-2024, 03:52 PM.Comment

I can't stand calling devs "lazy". What they do isn't easy, especially with a game that releases yearly. They literally have like 8-9 months of development time on the new game. There are things I'd like to see changed just like everyone else, but come on y'all.....

If you put the camera on the ground during replays it always looks like that. In play it just gets downscaled to something atrocious."When it's all set and done, reality is the best innovation."Comment

Don't forget about Y2Y saves and Online Franchise! It's amazing this company never had a history of skimping on features and not being 100% detail oriented before the Women mode.Comment

This is his complaint. He also doesn't like the (now outdated) in-game layout because it has the incorrect number of batters due up. He wants an absolutely exact recreation of every aspect of the stadium.I'm not even sure what your complaint is about the scoreboard. It's in the correct location and looks appropriately sized. Re: MLB The Show 24 Ratings Preview and Some Features Discussed
First off, they don’t get a huge advance notice. Look at the scoreboard in CitiField last year. They jumped the gun and added the fantasy one that was rejected and it took months to get the actual scoreboard in.When something in a modern stadium gets updated it should be SDS number #1 Priority to get those updates in MLB The Show ASAP!!!
A whole you advance notice should be more then enough time to get these new updates in the game!

Secondly, I can guarantee you it’s only a #1 priority to a small amount of people who play the game. Most people who play couldn’t tell you the difference between if the dugouts are switched, let alone the scoreboard type or grass color. Would be nice for them to stay on top of it, but so many of these things change every year at the real stadiums that the average fan isn’t going to notice a difference or care. They just want to play with their favorite team at something that closely resembles their favorite stadium.Comment
