Whats everyone's opinion.... You think franchise got some minor tweaks or has there silence been of something worthwhile being added

Last year, as told by Clayton and Tim at SDS, we got a new scouting/drafting/signing process, new trade deadline/tiebreaker/minor league/prospect generation logic, and improvements to the player/trade AI from MLB 22 that they were continuing to work on since MLB 21.

As far as what to expect? Probably more AI logic improvements and fixes to what was done last year. They're rebuilding franchise mode as a whole since MLB 21 and redoing the AI logic is probably the hardest thing to re-engineer, especially when there's so many systems within Franchise/MTO that have to work together to make the experience fun for the player. They've said this themselves in the linked stream as part of their introduction to what was changed for 23.

Do you want it as something playable or just having the combine results to help you make your pick in the draft?

If playable it would be pretty time consuming I’d think.

Combine
More trade slots and a improved trade logic
Lineup & bullpen logic
Better owner goals
A trade deadline frenzy ex: nhl.24

Wishful thinking would be like 2k mynba where each team has a gm you communicate for trades and each season u get ranked on your proformence for executive of the year award
International signings etc

I want to play this game without ever having to open one of those ridiculous online card packs for any reason.

Do you want it as something playable or just having the combine results to help you make your pick in the draft?

If playable it would be pretty time consuming I’d think.

If they added the high school game then I’d want to play that but otherwise I’m good with it being a different way of presenting potential attributes as well as separating the “best of the draft prospects “ from the field.

You can play 23 without ever having to open one of those ridiculous online card packs.
You have always been able to play any year of thes Show without ever having to open any packs.
I'm quite confident you will be able to play 24 without ever having to open one of those ridiculous card packs.

Not in RTTS you can't. You need gear to get above 50 in rating categories.

21, I think. And yeah, you can buy most stuff off the marketplace, but the diamond gear with the best stats is very expensive.

I think it changed with 21. Unfortunately RTTS feels like it’s just another funnel into the micro-transactions merry-go-round. These days everything except Franchise is.
