What’s everyone doing with unsigned FA’s?

So with 24’ a week away and some top free agents still unsigned what are everyone’s plans if these guys remain unsigned?

Will you just place them on whatever team you think makes the most sense? Leave them unsigned? Maybe randomly place them?

    Anyone have any suggestions?

As for other teams, I'll leave them unsigned for the most part. As long as rosters are balanced (i.e. not 11 first basemen and 4 leftfielders). I'm not super anal when it comes to rosters replicating real life. It's my universe, I let the other 29 teams do theit thing and I do mine. My Mets need more free agent help at pitching so I'll probably sign 3 free agent pitchers. I was hoping Matt Chapman was going to be a free agent on the default, we really need a third basemen.

I like to put unsigned free agents that have good attributes on the bad teams, at the start of franchise. Just to even the teams out a bit, talent wise. I do 30 team control.

Leave them unsigned and then add them to the team that signs them with the actual contract they sign (30 team control)

I always wait for the first roster update to get players like Yamamoto and such. So you looking at second week of April I believe guys like Snell and Montgomery will be signed by then and in that update.

Regardless of when I purchase the game I always wait a while before starting my franchise. Sometimes as much as a month. Gives me time to settle into the game and any roster updates that need to be made. So essentially I wait until opening day. If I have to manually add them to their actually teams I will. After that whatever happens, happens. It’s no different I think then the cpu making trades that didn’t actually happen in real life.

It depends. There are some players I really don’t like, jcaro725 can attest to that, so they will get replaced with a like player, or a good CAP. And, as of yet, unsigned Joey Votto has to be on a team somewhere. Part of the fun.

Look at the free agents and sign one the starting pitchers to the Cubs and let the ai sign whoever they want.
