Re: In, out or waiting?
In, Predownloaded. This purchase is the easiest decision I make all year in video games. You can break it down to math alone if you want - Even with last year being a somewhat down year (for various reasons, not all relating to video games or The Show's quality itself) I still put over 600 hours into The Show 23. That is over THREE TIMES the time I spent on any other video game product (put Baldur's Gate 3 and a lengthy JRPG called Trails into Reverie together - both of which I bought at MSRP - and you get close to half of that). But it's not just about time - year after year this game's on-field play is just a joy to experience for me. Yes, it's not perfect and the off-field stuff leaves much to be desired. But, as I'm not a huge basketball fan and therefore only have a passing yearly interest in NBA2K, nothing else that I play regularly represents its sport on the field so faithfully.Last edited by bcruise; 03-10-2024, 03:52 AM.Comment

Re: In, out or waiting?
I was thinking about sticking with 23, but nah . I put in several hours in 23 and I certainly will play the hell out of 24. I pre-ordered the mvp version just so I can play it early.
I am ready for some baseball.Mississippi State

Next thing you know, DD edition was pre-ordered on the PS5 and said : "It's not like we don't know where the hell that convincing speech was going, hey?" ;-)"Ice hockey is a form of disorderly conduct in which the score is kept." - Doug LarsonComment

I was thinking exactly the same. 23 is really good, got over 300 hours of play, yadi yadi yada, I'm gonna wait...

100% this. I may wait to start my franchise just to get to the end of the season I’m in. But already preordered on both x-box and switch. (Switch really helps move the season along for me. Love that it’s on there). Heck, I’m considering getting a PS5 finally, now that they are easier to get. If I do, I’m going to buy it there too. Point being: yes, there are things I want to see added/changed/etc. but for me, The Show is hands down the best video game. And best baseball fix I can get.

Like you, there's area of The Show that I would like to see improved, but all in all, my gaming time is mostly spent on MLBTS because that games gives me what I need."Ice hockey is a form of disorderly conduct in which the score is kept." - Doug LarsonComment

Re: In, out or waiting?
In and already preloaded on PS5. I didn’t get everything I wanted for franchise but between that and the separation of RTTS from DD it was a no brainer.MLB: Chicago Cubs
NFL: San Diego Chargers
NHL: Chicago Blackhawks
NBA: Chicago Bulls
NCAA: Iowa HawkeyesComment
