How exactly does dynamic difficulty work?

Are there levels to it? I am currently on all star + and I want to keep it there. But is that progress bar they show you like different levels of all star+ ? I.e. if the bar is closer to hall of fame, does that mean it’s a “harder version” of all star + or is it just All star + no matter how filled up the bar in the top left corner is?

Apologies if this is confusing, it makes sense in my head lol

Bar is just progress towards moving up/down the difficulty scale. When it reaches one end or the other you'll switch difficulties.

"+" levels are "in-betweens" of the regular levels, except legend + which is the absolute highest you can go. If you're on a base difficulty, you'll go to the + level once the bar fills - if you fill it again you'll go up to the next base difficulty.

Where is the quick count option for games played in Franchise and March to October? I looked in the settings and can't find it.

For franchise (and exhibition), it's in the pregame screen where you set the presentation theme, weather, etc.

It's not an option in MTO.

HoF + IS the harder version of HoF. As an example, if you're playing on Hall of Fame and the progress meter fills all the way up, you'll advance to HoF +. At that point the game will get tougher than base HoF - not before.

Mean to add.. make sure you are playing the X/S version.

Is there a way to remove the cut scene on important pitches? I can’t stand it. Mainly because you can’t see the catchers location mitt when it cuts to it.

Settings > Presentation > Pitch Selection Cameras: None (or some of the other options on that screen that make those scenes play at reduced frequency)

Could you list the teams/ballparks with improved presentation/sounds?



I know so far:



The Astros have incredible atmosphere with the train sounds.
With the Diamondbacks you here the rattlesnake sounds often
The Tigers have some specific sounds.


Didn´t recognize anything special for the Dodgers, Giants and Texans.

If you don't see Stadium Creator (under "create" top right of main menu). Then you are playing the last gen version *(Xbox One)

I havent played this game in a couple of years. Is franchise mode still the same where players are tired every 4-5 games and need sat, or has it updated where you can actually have players play 150+ games a season without being constantly tired.

It's the same. You can somewhat get around that issue by using an edited roster.

Cinncinati has unique stadium sounds and KC as well. I’m currently playing a series in Baltimore, if they have any unique sounds I haven’t noticed yet.

A little disappointed it seems the custom team main logo issue still exists. Has anyone figured out a way around this?
