Let’s go team chant

I’ve only played spring training games so far but the let’s go team chant constantly throughout the whole game gets really annoying. Is it not as obvious during regular season games because I haven’t seen too many people talk about it.

I've only played exhibition games and they seem fine and kinda que'd up at appropriate times....spring training though seems like doing too much lol.

I use the Braves and at home games the crowd chants lets go Braves, over and over and over and over and over and over during every single game.... it's so annoying.

1000% agree. Oooof. I don’t usually call for patches, but this is highly annoying and completely unrealistic.

Also in accurate. In Toronto anyway, it's never "Let's Go Jays", always, "Let Go, Blue Jays" like the horn that plays inmreal like and the game.

Even if they reduce the frequency, the chants just don’t sound good. They sound like something made in a studio, not a chant from a stadium

I’ve resorted to playing on mute. I listened to “LETS GO DBACKS” for what felt like 3 straight innings. They have to do something about these chants.

I feel like the bug here is that it frequently plays when the bottom half of an inning starts (for the home team batting), when it should probably never actually play at that time. I hear it at other times too, but that is by far the most prevalent. Plus it usually doesn't go away until the first at-bat of that half-inning ends.

When it plays in other situations (often with home team runners on base), it usually doesn't drone on for an entire at-bat. Those are probably the times where they're supposed to play.

While not the most elegant solution - and this really needs to get patched so don't think of a workaround as "excusing" this - entering and leaving the replay screen should kill the chant when it's happening at the start of a half inning. Sometimes it goes out right away, other times it fades over a short time. I can't verify yet if that works with the other times when it sounds more "normal" yet.

I submitted a bug report with everything above except the replay part - I'm still trying to figure out the finer points of when that works and when it doesn't.

Edit: will also add that I'm not hearing the chants with the same frequency on the PS4 version (through my PS5). Most importantly, not hearing it at the start of half-innings. Points even more toward it being a PS5/current gen only bug.

What drives me crazy is when they chant “go team go” I’ve never been at a game where that is the chant it’s always “let’s go team” both are in the game but the former seems more prevalent and to me way more annoying. But agree with everyone it should all be toned down.

I believe this has been addressed as of patch 3. As I mentioned above, the issue seemed to be that it was triggering at the start of every bottom half of the inning, and it's not doing that now. I'm still hearing the chants, but they seem to be in the right places and don't go on for entire at-bats anymore.
