But with the pitch clock, I have to now hold R2 when pitching to let him finish, which kind of defeats the purpose of having a pitch clock. Less more Sony, and more less!
He was in the middle of a long winded story yesterday(Don't remember about what, really wasn't paying attention) I made the pitch which ended up with a double and a play at the plate which resulted in an out. After all that he was STILL talking and I got nothing about what had just happened in the game.

Hearing about Boog catching a foul ball as an announcer, and Singleton gushing over how vocal the umpire is being every single game is just so old and the game isn't even a week old yet.
Sadly..this repetitive commentary was in the game last year. There does not appear to have been an update this year. If someone sees them, ask them.

It must be very challenging getting commentary to work properly and smoothly. I do sometime miss vasgersian but I also was thrilled when I learned we were getting new commentators.

Now I just turn them off and pretend I'm playing on the field ( bc I am!) It gets me into the game more too

How long before they are using AI to create natural conversations and to discuss the play on the field?

With the exponential advancement of AI that is currently happening, I wouldn't think it would be very long before you can ask an AI to call a game in real time. Could even do it in the voice and style of whomever. They could have multiple teams (infinite amount really). It would seem the potential is limitless. And my guess is we are only a few years away from that reality if they choose to go in that direction.

I can’t believe they wasted time and money on that minor league commentary.
Not too many people want to be stuck in the minors. SD priorities are looking really shaky.

            Radio show- gone
            Y2y saves- gone
            Online franchise-gone
            SOTS- gone

Spend thousands on a one man commentary for minor leagues- yes

            What’s going on up there?
