I know this isn't a Web Gem in the strictest sense, but I just loved watching the right fielder literally climb the chain link fence in an attempt to rob the home run. Because it took place during a Storyline, I didn't have access to a replay to really zoom in on it.

I never throw anyone out stealing (my old eyes and reaction time aren't what they used to be), so the fact that I was able to gun down Acuna and Harris II was an awesome feet for me. I'm sure the fact that I threw Acuna out on high cutter helped, but I'm amazed that I was able to nail Harris off low circle change.

Edit: And man, this is the beauty of baseball right here too.

Normally Jace Jung is at third and Colt Keith is at second. I don’t think this play gets made with those guys.

Vilade is the better fielder than Jung and Jung has the better arm than Keith.

This play only gets made with this paring, and not the other.

Man this is a well-balanced game. And one simple play like this can shape an entire game’s outcome.

Baseball is awesome.
