Re: Big bug
Just had the situation bottom 9. Batter singled, prompted to pinch run. Game was 2-2, so, even tho I didn’t want to pinch run I didn’t want to “ignore” and have that base runner disappear, so I elected to pinch run and it worked.
So, the workaround (pending the bug report) is to go to the pinch runner.I am the way
I am the light
I am the dark inside the night.
I hear your hopes
I feel your dreams
And in the dark I hear your screams
Don't turn away, Just take my hand
I'll never leave, All I ask of you, Is Believe.

We usually have a patch the week after release. So hopefully this gets addressed soon. This is a big one.Comment

Re: Big bug
Since there isn’t a bug thread, I’m going to piggy back off of this one. The other team had a runner on third with two outs and I get a broken bat dribbler up the first baseline. Pitcher fields it and tags the batter out, but some how they were still awarded a run.Comment

RTTS Crashes Right Before Combine with Loaded Roster
Hello… apologies in advance if this isn't the best place to ask this question, but I didn't get any traction in the Q&A thread, and this is a new account, so I can't start a new thread with it.
I'm having an issue with RTTS where it is crashing the game every time I get to the beginning of the Combine if I'm using a loaded roster.
Everything works fine if I use a default roster and go to the Combine, or if I use a loaded roster and skip the Combine and go straight to the draft.
Is there something I'm doing wrong here? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.Comment

Re: Big bug
Entered the bottom of the 9th in a tie game. First batter got a single and then the next hit a walkoff Homer. Pitcher wasn’t charged with any earned runs when he should have. No error in the box score or anything.Comment

Re: Big bug
I’ve definitely seen some box score errors. Had me down for K 3 times, I checked the game log and it was 5. Bug report sent. Not sure why a Bugs and Glitches threaten wasn’t pinned at the top.Comment

Re: Big bug
OK….More on the disappearing base runners. It happened before in extra innings and when I ignored substituting the base runner who, let’s say walked, both runners disappeared from the screen.
So today, tight game 3-3, 9th inning my batter walked. Held my breath and ignored the pinch runner. The runner on 1st didn’t disappear, whew. So the bug might only occur in extra innings when you start with a runner on 2nd, the next batter gets on, and you are prompted to sub and ignore it.

Yeah, pre-24 we had like 11 stickied topics, now we have 8. A MLBTS23 Bug/Glitch thread sticky was one. I don't recall what the other two were.T-BONE.

Re: Big bug
I just encountered a related bug that I believe I saw once in 23 as well.
6th inning. My guy gets on 1st (don’t remember how). I get the prompt to pinch run. I agree and select a pinch runner, but nothing. It just returns to the game as is with original runner on 1st.
Strange. So I pause game and go to substitution menu and select pinch runner. Still nothing, brings me back to game as is.
Go to quick manage. Select pinch runner and it works!
HOWEVER - I could tell something was up right away because the shade shifted as if multiple innings went by. Next inning I go to warm up a reliever and 3 of my relievers are missing and my starter who pitched 5 innings is available to warm up.
I check the box score and my starter has 0.0 innings pitched and just one other reliever.
The batters portion of the box score had wacky stats that didn’t contribute to the overall score. For example it had like 5 players with RBIs in a 2-1 game.
Post game, all those wacky stats carried over to the MLB stats page. And my starter didn’t get credit.
