I don't think the trade logic has gotten much better but if you change the trade frequency slider throughout the season it'll lessen the movement, and thus lessen the "why did you do that?" moves.

I start the season with it at 1, move it to 3 at the start of June, 6 after the All-Star break, 10 for the day before the trade deadline and deadline itself, then default 5 for the rest of the season and start of the off-season. 6 during the week of the winter meetings, then back to 1 through the rest of the off-season.

It's tedious and we shouldn't have to do it, but it helps.

      Not really.

I had a 34 year old Keven Gausman on the trade block in my franchise and the reds offered me Elly De LA Cruz. In their defense he was on his last year, and they probably didn't want to pay him, but for a 34 year old pitcher making 22mil with 1 more year on his contract?

Re: RTTS 24- How is yours going?

I played a couple of season as a NY 3b prospect to see how the Yankees and other teams would deal with various things.

I restarted and made some edit around the league to prospects who were blocked but had obvious position change options.

For example, Judge in CF really screws up NYY. They trade away players who could play RF or LF. SO I moved Judge back to RF. I moved Spencer Jones to LF as Jasson Dom is the CF prospect. Made Soto a 1b. I also gave him a big deal because I doubt the Yankees let him go as it felt a realistic way of moving forward.

Around the league i did this with around dozen other teams to make them stronger.

I’m playing with a 2 way player for the Rangers organization. But I just noticed that I can never improve my plate discipline or vision from what I do in game.

No matter what I do the plate vision or discipline never progresses or regresses. I can strike out 5 times a game swing at outside pitches and nothing happens. I can go 5 for 5 and 0 progression on the meter.

Is it a bug and I’m tired of RTTs full of progression bugs year after year.

Guess I never noticed that myself.

I'll take a look at it and follow up.

How often are people getting calls from their agent this year? I'm entering my third full season in the majors, but my agent hasn't called to check-in since I was in the minors. From what I recall with past versions of the game, calls from the agent happened regularly. I'm not currently looking for a trade or to change positions, but it would be nice to have that option at some point.

I'm also in year three, taking a hiatus to play franchise currently.

With that said, I am in the same boat. No calls from my agent, just progress reports from the teams manager. Like you, I'm not looking to move teams, but the option would at least be nice. Especially if I am being blocked from moving up due to a star player.

Is there a quicker way to build up stamina? I would think if you pitch a complete game you’d get more progress. It takes forever to build it up

Why does it start so low?

I've not found a need for Stamina. I routinely hit 100 pitches per game at 33. Be sure to have STA gear on to assist. Recharge is great also.

And I jinx myself. I make that last post, and the dodgers rocked me for 3 runs in the first, not 10 minutes later. Held them in check for the next 4, but they pulled me after 5IP, 5H, 3ER, 5BB, 3K. Somehow managed the win to go 8-0 on the year. 6-5 final, im the bottom of the rotation for the Astros.

I submitted a bug report to the devs for this issue, so hopefully it'll be addressed in a future patch.

Was reading on reddit about this issue as tons of people are wondering about it. From what I gathered the agent doesn't contact you until near your free agency window. With the CBA you can't force trades etc etc.

I'm fine with it. Just suffer for 6 years lol

Got my starting pitcher in RTTS through 4 years and then went to arbitration. I requested and won my arbitration hearing for $40 million for 1 year. His previous 3 years I was making $978K each season.

My guy is a 95 overall rating, won 2 cy young awards and NL MVP awards, made the allstar team 3 years, and won 3 World series rings.
