    CPU Roster Control

Using this for franchise to try and keep things as real as possible and whenever I make lineup or bullpen changes after a couple games it defaults back to the weird lineups and moving closers to setup roles that it was originally in. I’m in too deep to start over and have 30 team control of that happens to be a fix. Any suggestions? Besides the ai bullpen mis usage this is another reason franchise is hard to grind bc of all the silly hiccups they have

Hmmmm. You started your franchise with checking all teams in the box next to their name…I believe you hit the square button and it will check them all for you.

Then you choose ROSTER CONTROL ON.

Next step is 3 boxes you will set all to MANUAL.

Don’t set your 26 man roster/lineups/pitching rotations yet. No matter what you do it will set the 26 man roster at the end of ST, regardless.

Once you’re at the start of the season…..
Here’s where you then have to set the 26 man/rotations/lineups to your liking. Tedious and time consuming but I always do. Make sure you use the ROSTER CONTROL option and not ROSTER [where you can release players, etc.]

Now, your rotation should not change if you have only FIVE SP on your team.
The lineups will stick, except, you will see guys subbed out because of fatigue, whatever. Not much you can do about that. You may see some funny batting orders but remember, the CPU does not know names, but attributes. Should revert back to what you set afterward.

I selected one team and then CPU roster control on so I can change lineups and make roster moves etc. I’ve used this for years and never noticed a problem with lineups and such changing frequently. Not sure what to do bc it keeps moving scrubs to the closer position

Do you mean moves for all teams?

Which lineups are changing? The other teams?

The pitching rotations of other teams keeps changing?

Yes other teams. I’ll move Altuve to lead off and after a game or two he’s hitting 4th, it’s not just in game but in the lineup screen to. I control the Yankees fyi. Starters don’t change but bullpens do

Do you have everything set to manual. I’m not at my game, but there’s 3 boxes that you can set different obligations to auto or manual.

Now….I always check all teams to control at the start in the event, e.g, Rodon gets traded to Toronto for Manoah I can do that using the roster control screen, then manually plug those pitchers into their new teams rotation.

I’ve never had any teams RP rotation change and I’ve been doing it this way forever. I understand the lineups.

Jcar0725 assigns profiles, but his band is playing tonight. I’m sure he’ll chime in tomorrow.

But again, if your trying to keep all teams current during the season, check all the team boxes before you start, then roster control on.

See you in the morning. Should be a cure.

Thanks. Yeah I have them all to set to manual. Sounds like I would have to start over and select all 30 teams which sucks

Big time. Lol. It’s a time consuming task, but once it’s done you’re good to go for the rest of the season.
