Suggested Rebranded Team Names.

Need one for the Angels. Something fitting with LA.

I have the Guardians rebranded as the Cleveland Brown Sox, the Braves as either Atlanta Graves or Georgia Peaches (haven't committed), and the Nationals as the DC Expos. Anyone have other interesting rebrand ideas?

Just curious. Have you checked the name files so that the audio will reflect the new name(s)?

There’s a great set of California Grizzlies logos and uniform logos in the vault that I always use for my California-based team.

The Rockers was a popular choice for Cleveland before Guardians was selected. I thought Walleyes or Pike (two popular fish in Lake Erie) would have been cool.

If you change the Atlanta Braves to Georgia Turnips and Turnips isn’t in the team name choices your opening screen will show Georgia Braves vs. whoever. FYI.

I was pulling for Cleveland Spiders. I can’t stand Guardians. I have people ask me my favorite baseball team and I now just say Cleveland. If I say Guardians most people look at me quizzically. Worst name in baseball history and I don’t care about the bridge crap. That was stretching it.

Don't know why they just didn't name it the Cleveland Tribe and have a T with a feather on it. I think the die hard Indian fans would have been OK with it. Tribe has positive connotations.

How about if they just didn't even change the name I don't know why they pandered to some group of idiots running around looking for racism. The funny part is they don't even watch sports or could care less the Indians definitely have some weak management or ownership and just to be clear I don't think this has much to do with the Indian name they just considered a victory getting people to bend

If you do some research, the name change has been discussed here for over 30 years when Dick Jacobs owned the team and was getting pressured by corporate sponsors and native Americans.

When Dolan bought the team 20 years ago the name change was a consideration due to more pressure and Dolan expressed interest in changing it back then.

MLB actually pushed them to get rid of chief wahoo.

I don't have an issue with a team changing their name for whatever reason they want, I just wished Cleveland had went with a really good name change. The NBA Wizards did it right. The NFL Commanders almost got it right. It isn't terrible but it isn't great either. I put the Guardian name change as a failure (in my book) right along with the Angels changing their name from California and the Marlins changing from Florida. If any team wants to change next, I hope it's the Yankees. That's a terrible name choice as far as I'm concerned. I'm not going any further into my Yankee reasoning because I don't think I can stay on the right side of the ToS when discussing my views on it in detail.

You truly don't get it they're trying to change the history and not for good reasons it's nothing more than virtue signaling and the Washington name changes are horrible you're obviously younger it's good to have tradition just like having a mother and a father I have no idea why you would want to change one of the most iconic names in all of sports the Yankees please don't respond to me I'm Blown Away by that

Just like if someone fed you dog poop you'd eventually get used to it or you wouldn't know any difference after a while would you hopefully you get my point it's not meant in a bad way it's very scary the way some of you think to me I don't know whether to blame your parents or the school system please don't take this personal it's not meant that way there's a huge gap on how I was brought up how wonderful this country once was I don't think some of you know what you have here sorry for the preaching
