      Re: Help!!

Hmm, that's gonna be tough if you can't access the email you created the profile from. You most likely didn't delete the entire account, just the profile for it on your console. The account should still exist online if that's the case, but you still probably won't be able to login and re-create the profile without being able to access the verification e-mails the system would send you. This probably involves calling support and giving them your username, but I can't say I know how that's going to go as I've never really experienced the problem. But it definitely locked the game as a result of you deleting the profile you purchased the game from.

            Re: Help!!

I had that happen a few years back with EA and Madden. They were able to change my email to my new one so hopefully they can still do that!

It was, so long as the owner is/was on the console. (There’s a setting that gets enabled when you set the system up that allows game sharing with all other console accounts.) But when you deleted the owner, you kicked him out of your house and he took his games with.

Trying to figure out the email is the way to go, if possible. I’ve never been in this situation but I really don’t see Sony transferring your purchase from one account to the other, which is what you would need to happen here.

Even if it means a digital download is all there is and there is no physical edition. At least I have my Nintendo version albeit sans stadium creator _
My advice for you if you ever do this again is to just login to your old account, add your new email to it, then delete the old email. I did this for my PSN account and didn’t lose anything since it just changed your main email to the one you want to use without needing to create a new account.

                  This is also doable, yeah.

Ghost, if you can get access to the original email again (because I'm sure you'll need to for any PSN "Forgot password?" process), you'd be able to update the login on your PSN afterwards to your new one no problem.

Only you know how likely figuring all that out is, though. Hopefully you'll be able to get it taken care of.

No problem so far, I created a new profile linked to new email. I played all yesterday fine with new profile. Played all today with new profile. So I decided to delete old profile as I couldn't at the time see a need for it. But then I go back to play, tha Show24 app suddenly has a ''lock'' on it, and now I can't play. No way am I spending another 70 dollars. I guess I will either have to play only my 24 Nintendo version (which I would rather just play as a handheld and not on my TV. I'm not a huge fan of the controller layout) or go back to 23 or Show 19. None of these options are the least bit appealing. Ugh, I ******* hate this Digital only bull ****. Sony can bite my shiny metal ***.
I would call customer support and see if there is anything they can do to help. The same thing happened to me once and I discovered I'd have to re purchase all my games with a new profile. Luckily I hadn't deleted my old profile and managed to get back into it. Best of luck.

                        Re: Help!!

I worked with Xbox when they rolled out the mandatory password update when the 360 was the main console.

Sony's process is nearly the same, but without access to the email it will be tricky. They will probably ask you a bunch of purchasing questions, when the PS account was created etc etc

It's not impossible, just really, REALLY a pain in the arse.
