I stayed with mlbts23 due to lack of y2y saves but with the multiple bugs and glitches in 24 I have to say it's even worse than I thought. Manage mode apparently the camera is glitched. Seems like a simple fix but still hasn't been patched.

Now stats are also glitched?

Now stats are also glitched?

Gameplay is the best of the series but they really s**it the bed with every other aspect. 24 is looking to break 21’s record for how quickly it gets shelved. 21 made it to mid May. 24 may not make it till mid April.

Using a custom roster or scea roster? I having seen any issues using scea roster.

Not that I want to make excuses for SDS as I do believe you should never have to shut off settings to get a game to work the way it should. Same with them and all these years still having older players ratings fall off a cliff. But if you turn off weather conditions (Basically make it nice out) stop the issue?

It’s not the rain. I never use rain as I don’t like the way the game handles the delays.

I was the one who reported this originally. Now someone else. Just like I reported the disappearing base runners in pinch run situations. Now someone else reported it yesterday.

I keep 2-3 backup franchise files, so I can reload and just QM these glitched games. I’m not going to stop playing, but SDS loads this game up with stuff every year, just don’t know if this is some type of coding conflict?

If somebody posts it’s not happening for them, that’s not really helpful. I’m sort of glad the poster made a separate thread (this is already in bugs/glitches) as I believe SDS needs all hands on deck if this is something that franchise players will just have to tolerate if it kicks in in a larger degree deeper into franchise.

I don't think its rain. I've played several games in rain, and some that were delayed and haven't experienced the issue. So I'm fairly sure rain is not the culprit here.

With this seemingly not being a widespread issue, since some have stated, myself included, that they haven't experienced the issue, there is likely is a common denominator with those that have unfortunately experienced this issue.

I posted above a few questions in regards to play style that are differing from mine to see if a possible game setting was shared amongst those who have experienced the issue, to try and isolate a culprit(s) that could be sent to SDS to investigate.

ah ok makes sense. Sorry thought it was just related to the rain. All errors are almost always coding related. What worries me is that while SDS is good at the putting a solid playing game on the field they are so bad at coding who knows how long it will take to fix. They have 5 year old coding issues still in the game. Coding is not their strong suit

The almost complete lack of attention is bad enough but the annual introduction of bugs that previously didn't exist makes it exponentially worse. It makes you wonder if anybody is in charge. Someone should pull some developers off other modes and have them attack the problems in franchise mode.

That frustration plus lack of y2y is why for the first time ever I didn't buy the new version of the game.

At some point they need to think about fixing game breaking bugs before pouring a ton of manpower into pet projects.

So annoying. They have to fix this or it’ll render the game completely useless for a lot of people. Franchise is the only reason I buy this game.
