What do you use to set your Opening Day rosters

I want to to start a franchise with the correct opening day rosters, but i dont know how to go about this. I just started 30 team franchise with the 'injured players' roster, but i think its missing some injuries. For those of you that like to start franchises with the accurate opening day rosters...how do you go about it?

Well, it’s sort of futile to do so. Several years back you could set your ML roster and it would stick as you reached the start of your season. It doesn’t stick anymore. Once past spring training the CPU will determine your roster, could be 6-7 SP, 3 catchers, etc. So if you’re going to play with ROSTER CONTROL ON….once you reach the start of the season you can set the 26 man roster/lineups/pitching rotations.

I play with roster control off and control all 30 teams so i can manually injure and trade players if need be.

But where do people get their info to set the accurate opening day rosters with correct injuries and such. Everywhere i check just has day to day injuries. It doesn't tell me who started the season on the IL.

I use fangraphs. It will show lineups, below that pitching rotations, below that injuries, then minor league players.

You can’t download rosters with injuries. Nor can you injure a player outside of franchise mode. Would be really nice if we could do those things. A game like 2K has these features in for 5+ years.
