Poor Hitting Background at Ranger's Stadium

I played a game yesterday at the Ranger's new stadium. There was bright sunshine on the "batter's eye" and a shadow over some of the field. This made it nearly impossible for me to pick up the ball using the Strike Zone 3 camera. Anyone else experience that?

Not there. But, the same thing happens at Target field. It's impossible to play there under some circumstances.

Yup, had the same thing in Texas.

Somehow I managed to hit well but it was more a question of luck than skill.

This is exactly how I feel about Boston. They have the worst batters eye in baseball. And if it’s a day game, it’s literally impossible. Ball gets lost in the crowd and shadows.

Don't they tarp off the CF section in day games in real life to prevent issues?

Yes. Those seats should only be filled at night.

That makes sense. It’s dreadful during the day.

I always close the roof cause of this. I head canon it that Texas is too hot and humid to leave it open during day games lol. Which, for at least the summer months, is pretty true.

Summer starts early here in Texas. It was 86 today. Humidity was terrible as well, it was 98% at 10am. I’m sure it dropped as the temperature went up but it was still sticky outside when I was feeding the fish in the pond.

Minnesota is practically impossible during day games until about the fourth inning unless you specifically change the weather to overcast.
