Speaking of, I just had a complete game with Kyle Gibson 3-1 over Phillies only giving up 2 hits and 131 pitches. It said he was tired only in 9th inning.

Wow….then it is sorely in need of repair. How does it go from working correctly 2 years ago to FUBAR the last two years?

I used it exclusively two years ago. It does speed things up, but when the triple digit pitch counts arrived two years ago, I quit. Actually enjoy the game more with it off. That said….it needs attention.

            Is it still broken?

I used to like it when it was first introduced

I tried it for a game last year and it was terrible, pitch counts were so out of whack

I agree, but it was my intent to point out that you can still pitch a complete game with a starter although the pitch count is inflated.

              (Kyle Gibson, STL, 9IP, 2H, 1R, 131 pitches, only tired in 9th inning - STL 4, PHI 1 F)

My sliders are on default with dynamic difficulty.

I use QC as well, but ignore the pitch counts, especially since it really doesn’t matter in relation to stats. IP is all that matters.

Thinking this way has helped me get over the pitch count quagmire.

I don’t exactly remember how they used to do it, did they subtract a pitch after each batter?
The way it is now the very lowest you can have is a 9 pitch inning.

Pretty much. At the start of each generated count was when they subtracted one. So a 2-1 starting count added only 2 to the total.
