Having an aggregation of games on one platform, rather than having to seek out multiple to see all the games one might want.
They show a few a day on ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU, but they show almost every major conference game on ESPN+. They are showing 45 games today alone for just college baseball.

Maybe the success of college football returning could lay the groundwork for a NIL deal for other sports. But just a thought what if they had a baseball/softball combo game? You could play either one (like NBA having a WNBA option). I’d love an NCAA baseball/softball combo game

Oh I'd be down for that. I would love to play some college softball dynasty also.

I know there's some college rosters out there, but I came up with an idea for a College-like Franchise on MLB 24 and am interested in your guys' thoughts on if it can work on the game.

Basically use either a full Joe Random or one of the College Rosters. Customize/Rebrand uniforms as you'd like and turn trade frequency down to zero. Then play as normal and after the World Series (before advancing to the off-season) edit any player who is either free agent eligible or 25 years old, so that they are no longer a viable option -- ya know, tank Contact, Power, Speed and H/9, K/9, and BB/9.This should make Free Agency non-existent and (with no trades) have teams solely relying on the draft.

I don't think the four years of college eligibility would work due to the game's setup and going to six years of service or age 25, puts an easy line in the sand to follow. It also allows rosters to be adequately filled with likely around 30-40 players per team. So, could this work? Are there any grave flaws in this Franchise idea?

You can't have just 30-40 players per team because it doesn't meet the minimum roster requirements. Also, depending on how many players "leave" after a given season, you may not have enough draft picks to refill the roster. The draft is only 6 rounds long and with extra compensation picks, I think the max is 8-10 picks per year for a team, but that wouldn't be all of them. Then you run the risk of not all players signing their draft contract.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(
