I get literally no injuries in Franchise mode

Had this problem last year (my first year playing the game). I'm on Xbox and as far as I can tell I have injuries on? I never see anyway and I'm not sure why. Thanks yall.

He should have said "You will see Kurt Warner come out of retirement. That's about it."

I do, is that what's causing it?

Yup. Game tells you that in the info at the top of the screen when you select that option upon starting a franchise. Which, incidentally, is the ONLY time you can change that option. In short, you're going to have to start over to leave that option off and get injuries.

There's also no trades or budgets with that option on. It's really just meant as a way for people who want to follow along with the real season and make all the relevant moves themselves.

For what its worth, I use 30 team roster control because I think the CPU makes horrible trade decisions, and waiver decisions. I also tend not to play more than a season with one team except the Giants, so I basically simulate the injuries and trades that happen IRL myself. I send injured IRL guys down to the minors, and then call them up when they're expected to IRL (because I play passed the point where we are in the real season) using Rotowire for injury return estimations.

Word! Thanks! Unfortunate that I need to start over but worth it for injuries. I also use 30 team control and always had CPU RC on "just in case". Bummer! Oh well.
