I’ve been using veteran stance 85 for him. His actual stance looks nothing like the one they have set for him. 85 looks pretty close based on the highlights I’ve seen of him.

Has anyone noticed any new commentary in these last couple updates? when they say bugs amd adjustments i know they are working with those however i thought in last years game they added in some lines in updates. or at least boog adding names to players who did not habe audio, any of this a possibility this go round? Also does Boog and singleton call any games as a pair irl? forgot this

It would be great if they put Starling Marte’s stance back in the game with one of these patches. The fact that they took it out and put in a generic stance under his name is super weird.

I am finding new lines. They were talking about how the team was leaving a lot of traffic on the bases and they said...well that is why they put the number of left on base on the boxscore. Which is funny because they don't in the game. I wish they did.

And Boog is the play by play announcer for the Cubs on TV. Singleton is a part time analysis with the Brewers according to online.

Current team is Boog and Glanville. So they either recorded late in the year and just getting put in now or they are saying their lines at home and sending in (would be my guess).

I do like Dan Plesac on MLB Network. But I didn't care for him in the game as an analysis. But maybe if he was the only analyst he would have been okay...him and Derosa just blended together too much.

Need to bring in Thom Brennamin and Steve Lyons...they probably have some free time. LOL

But you wonder how long they will have Singleton in the game. Boog won't go anywhere anytime soon but they do go through analysts every couple of years it seems like. And it does keep the game fresh.

Unfortunately unless you have a backup save then you will have to start over

CB - when you say ‘backup save’ do you mean an offline usb copy or just simply saving the season file via the game interface to more than one name?

Just having multiple saves on the console hard drive.

I have 4 save files for my franchise and I constantly update them by saving the newest file over the oldest file.

I also save to the PS5 cloud and then I update the in-game cloud save file after every Sunday of my franchise.

This way if something happens, I have multiple avenues to fall back on so as to not lose my entire season.

This patch may have corrupted my franchise save. My game updated at some point between now and earlier this week when I last played. When I tried to pull it up today, my franchise file is corrupted and can't be loaded.

I feel pretty hopeless at this point but has anyone ever had this happen and been able to revive their save?

I hear ya! In 1988, I was playing Level 7 in The Legend of Zelda when my mom asked me to clean up my toys in the living room. When I got back, I bumped my NES, and it froze. Worse yet, my file was gone when I started it back up!

I got discouraged and started watching the Cubs after that, and that didn't go well either!
