Commentary Issues

I was curious if anyone was having commentary issues since the last patch? In my Franchise, I was playing a game yesterday and several commentary issues took place.

1. With Francisco Lindor up to bat, the commentary began speaking about pitching to Max Muncy. This happened multiple times and mentioned other players as well.
2. After I foul a ball off, as the pitcher reset, the commentary spoke of the ball falling in for a base hit.
3. After another foul ball, the commentary the crowd was waving flags and on their feet, but the crowd was sitting and was quiet.
4. I was up 6-0 in the 7th inning, however the commentary said I was in a tight game leading by 2.
5. I also noticed the audio for the last name Iglesias says something completely different, like Hasid or Hasick.

Anyone know how to fix it? Is it a glitch in the last patch? I am playing the digital ps4 version on the ps5 to be able to play with the SotS.

Any help would be appreciated!

I was playing in Cleveland and wasn't paying a whole lot of attention to the commentators because it was a close game. But they said something had happened right here at Yankee Stadium. I was playing as the Yankees but was at Progressive Field.

Maybe they'll start saying the suit story on road games now. LOL

I was pitching with the Dodgers with the latest update and Yomomato was pitching. He has had a rough start and has an era of over 5.00. Well, he pitched a 1, 2, 3 inning in the 1st inning but in the 2nd inning they kept on saying how much he struggled in the 1st inning throwing strikes.

Yes, commentary has been a disaster since the last patch. I had to turn it off. Hope they fix it soon

Yes commentary is disaster since last patch...I now have apparently a female player in majors and I'm in game 7 of the World Series although I am only in May. These are just two glaring examples. Surprised it hasn't been patched yet.

Everytime I hit a homerun they say that “not here… but here” line. It drives me insane!

Was playing the Dodgers last night and every time Ohtani came to bat that were talking about him being on the hill tonight, even though he wasn’t pitching.

The commentary is more repetitive now than ever. 5 games in a row Boog has talked about "familiarity with the umpires"... It's unbearable. I've been playing The Show since 2006 and for the first time I've decided to turn the commentary off.

It has basically ruined the last 2 versions for me. Hate the new announcers and commentary. I can't stand playing w/ out commentators either.

The commentary is abysmal. Not only the repetition, but how Singleton goes on and on often getting cut off when ball is put into play. Sounds ridiculous.

Anyone who says the commentary has improved is sadly mistaken. It is worse than ever.
