As a prepper for the game at Rickwood on Thursday, I played through the Willie Mays Storyline and it did not disappoint. Probably my favorite "moment" is "The Catch." SDS did a phenomenal job of recreating that iconic moment.

Keep up the great work with these Storylines, SDS! They really do help bring history to life.

I really hope the Negro League storylines continues after next year. Bob said on the Rickwood broadcast that the museum signed a three year deal with Sony to have these in the game, so fingers crossed that deal gets renewed. I love hearing these stories and playing through them, I just think they're so neat

Quick thought why don’t they take the negro league storylines out of the show and create an entire game just with the negro leagues they wouldn’t have a time crunch to get the roster in it could literally encompass the entire history of the leagues and could have storylines that are just uniquely negro leagues you have the stadiums and uniforms you could have an entire development team with no other purpose other than to develop the game about the negro leagues have it as an add on to the show I guess if you really want to tie it in but I think a stand alone game wouldn’t be too bad

Danged if I can find them.

These may or may not be new.
I found two row house clusters in the buildings and a light truck that of course the lights doesn’t work on in the section with the Arch.
Maybe there are some more blown up buildings or dinosaurs?

Yeah, table the money aspect for a moment, it wouldn't look good to separate them after Jackie Robinson went thru the trouble to unite the two.

I reported this presentation bug a while back after seeing it after patch 11# when i first noticed it and still again today, i can recreate it easily as when im the home team and i do a defsensive sub in the 9th inning after bringing in my closer clay holmes each time i make a sub it shows the entire closer entrance walk in package over again including the stat lines...funny how tired he must of got as i subbed in all 4 guys last game so he walked in a total of 5 times for warmups. i usually sub in guys before the 9th inning or with a larger lead so not alawys seeing it but im gonna bet its every time.

My guess would be due to MLB not playing there so not paying the licensing fees to include it in the game.

My questions to that are:

1) Did they play there last year?

and

2) Was it in last year's game?

1) No the MLB did not play there last year. The venue was under construction during the 2023 season.


2) No it was not in last year's game.

Hadn’t heard about the 3 year length, but that makes sense. Looking at the roster of remaining notable names, they’re gonna start scraping the barrel for content in 2026 at this pace.

I always play with commentary off but will give it a try since it's been a few times I red that the commentary is good this year.

One thing I wonder is what's the setup people are using in the audio/video adjustment to get a good balance between PA, commentators, Sound effets, crowd, etc.?

True, but I'm also getting tired of hearing about how Matt Strahm collects baseball bards of players who hit a home run off him.

Inevitably commentary is going to become repetitive, especially player specific background topics, just the nature of the beast.

But despite that, the way the game is called and presented is extremely well executed.
