    CPU Starter Stamina Bug?

Is there some sort of bug affecting the CPU's starter stamina in franchise? It seems lately every game the CPU starter has yellow or red stamina by the third inning while his pitch count is relatively low. At first I thought maybe somehow the rotations got shuffled so they kept starting pitchers that didn't have full stamina, but I checked before my last game and the opposing starter had full stamina. At the start of the 3rd inning he had yellow stamina after 29 pitches and after 39 his stamina was completely empty. I haven't touched any sliders except injury frequency. Anyone else experiencing this?

Feels like it has been like this for a few years now (CPU's SP stamina drains faster than the user's SP stamina.

Don't know for sure, but my guess is the CPU's SP is programmed to use max effort on every pitch, whereas the user prob mixes up velocity/effort a bit more.

JoshC suggested "a fix" by increasing the opponents SP stamina +10 before the game, then reverting it back after the game.

I do it and can vouch that it helps some.

I’ve played 5 games today since reading this and I haven’t seen anything similar. Not sure the cause, but it doesn’t seem to be a universal issue.

Are you using 30 team control?

What was Paddack’s stamina heading into the game? The CPU stamina does deplete a bit too fast for my liking, but this is overkill. My guess would be it wasn’t 100% going into the game (maybe a long relief appearance) so it’s depleted very quickly.

It is 30 team control. The strange thing is I'm at August 1 in my season and it just I just started noticing it.

I do think I was able to pinpoint where the issue is occurring after my last game. My pitching staff has been getting crushed lately and it seems every time I pull my starter early the opposing pitcher gets a huge drop in energy the following half inning. I was keeping a close eye on it and everything was normal through five innings, the opposing pitcher was around 50% energy. Once I changed pitchers the next half inning he was around 25% before he threw another pitch and his energy went from green to yellow. All of the other times I noticed this were games where I got blown out and took out my pitcher early.

Ah okay that's not what I was thinking then. That's strange.
