Corrupt file

Saved an in-game file for my franchise. Tried to load it the next day and the file could not load because it is corrupted. Very frustrating. Now I'm very apprehensive about starting a new franchise because I don't want that to happen again. Is this something that is common with this years game?

I feel you. The same thing happened to me like a month ago, I was almost two months in on my franchise when this happened to me.

It looks like it’s a common issue, I started to save my franchise twice to have to separate saves.

Yep just had my franchise corrupt right as I got to the world series after playing every game

Oh… That sucks! I had it happen to me, but I was only a month in to the season. Like you I play every game.

I don't know much about the corrupt file. But when I saw this post I genuinely wants to help you. In search engine I saw BLR data recovery tool, that claims it have a ability to repair corrupts files. I thinks you should it first.

I just decided to restart and simulate to get the same WS matchup and go from there [emoji22][emoji1744]

Well it happened to me. Won't load because corrupt file. Almost 50 games in. Played every pitch.

Unfortunately, nothing you can do about that. It's imperative that everyone save multiple saves for your franchise. I save 2 files minimum each time I'm about to shut the game down. I learned the hard way 3 years ago.
