They replaced the "Certified" Adidas cleats (which tons of guys still wear) with some dumb looking purple version of the Impact Adidas cleats where you can't change any of the colors. Unreal.

They replaced the "Certified" Adidas cleats (which tons of guys still wear) with some dumb looking purple version of the Impact Adidas cleats where you can't change any of the colors. Unreal.

The quality of some of these shoes is just horrendous
The adidas cleats they added are so round and thick at the toes area....
It's laughable what we get for ps5

What level are you playing on/sliders, etc.?
On HOF/HOF default sliders I just gad a great slugfest I won 10-9 in the bottom of the 9th. Runner on first, chopper between the catcher/pitcher which he airmailed to the wall down the RF line, grinned scored from 1st.

The worst part is anybody in the game who previously had the Certified Adidas cleats now just automatically has these awful looking purple cleats instead.

What level are you playing on/sliders, etc.?
On HOF/HOF default sliders I just gad a great slugfest I won 10-9 in the bottom of the 9th. Runner on first, chopper between the catcher/pitcher which he airmailed to the wall down the RF line, grinned scored from 1st.

Hey I'm on Legend and every game is basically a shutout and im barely even trying to pitch. I did find the cpu hit better on all star but my accuracy goes up all star and they swing and miss more. I get the sense that the CPU's PCI size is impacted by difficulty which causes weak contact if you don't pitch in the middle(legend being a smaller pci).

First game with this parch they have managed to score a run in 4 inning which is an improvement. I might try HOF after and see if that's better. I swear i played a game the other night where i just threw a fastball right down the middle for 4 straight inning before they got a hit...

If you're on classic pitching, crank up the cpu contact slider instead of going up to legend, see how that works.

Update: This was the most the cpu has ever scored. I won 6-5, i usually allow 2 or less. This game was easily the best i had since i bought it a couple weeks ago

I just played another and won 10-7. Something definitely changed for me... Lots more solid contact and variety of runs. Feels amazing now...

This is default HOF hitting/Legend pitching(zone/meter). I was very close to uninstalling this game.
