I'm 99% sure the only way you can do it is if you are playing with DH Off. Or you move your DH to a position, thereby forfeiting the DH spot, and when your pitcher comes to bat, pinch-hit for him , then leave the pinch-hitter on the mound. You used to could move your pitcher to a another position in-game but I don't guess you can this year.

You can still do it with the DH on I would wait until about the 6th but if you move DH player to a position u lose the DH when they pitcher comes up sub in the positional player when you get done batting it ask u to put pitcher in just hit circle and that positional player will be on the mound.
