My guess (and hope) is they only release on current gen next year which will allow them to overhaul franchise mode and make a big leap in that mode.

I don’t think you will ever see an “overhaul” in a single development cycle but rather continue to see layers added as we’ve seen the past few years.

I think the next biggest piece of the foundation will be restructuring how financial aspects are handled especially in contract demands and offerings.

I think once that happens then we will see the possibility of expanding rosters, more trade slots, etc

They'e already made one price cut, down to $49.99, twenty dollars off. What and when is the next usual dollars off, is it usually before Christmas?

I'm playing mlbts 23 in franchise mode because of no carry over saves. Not many threads about 23 but I still love the game.

Last year they waited until WS was over before the next large drop, I think it was initially 14.99-19.99

If someone gave me '24 for free I wouldn't install it because I'd have to throw away my '23 franchise and start over.

I'm sure it's a great game but I play every game in franchise mode and I'm too invested to throw it away and start over.

Why would you have to throw your 23 franchise away just because you have 24? I have 20,21,22,23, and 24, but I still have my 19 franchise going albeit slower. I usually play 19 mostly November to February, and even off and on, March to October.

I'm still going strong. I haven't played The Show in a few years and I'm just having too much fun lol. Haven't touched CFB or Madden yet. I imagine most people have moved on as baseball season is winding down.

A lot of people moved on before July was in the books, I assumed because of EA CFB. I have CFB and it is indeed good (tho I hope to see 26 dial the human and CPU passing game dialed down a notch). I'll get around to M25 in a couple months. I really don't believe the end of the baseball season and November to February will be any less active here in the Quiet Zone than August and September was. Nothing from nothing equals nothing lol. I too am still immensely enjoyin The Show 24 and honestly just before EA CFB was released I thought my Show days were drawing to a close , I wasn't even positive I would buy Show 25 but CFB did not scratch the itch I expected it to, tho again, I'm really pleased with the year one effort. But video game baseball is king of my hill and I'm rejuvenated, anxiously awaiting MLBTS25. Spring Training can't get here fast enough. Hopefully a Mets World Championship will get me thru the off-season.

I hit another gaming rut, but I’m still plugging away in my Braves dynasty. I’m 80 games in now, so I’m taking my time. Will likely skip 25 to keep playing 24.

Still haven’t started dynasties on either CFB25 or Madden 25.

Not getting in a hurry is the best way to go. In the past I'd try to play 5 or 6 games a day to try to get through a season as quick as possible(I play every pitch of every game) and would end up getting burned out a month and a half into my season. Now I play 2 or 3 games each day off I have from work. Keeps me excited to play, and keeps everything fresh. Trying to fly through seasons really takes away from the experience IMO.
