Making the GM role more difficult

Hi there,

Can anyone recommend settings for making the GM role more difficult? I’m thinking along the lines of options that approximate the kind of interference a GM might face from their owner or a higher ranking President of Baseball Operations. Would turning the pre-ARB and ARB contract work and free agent signings to auto constrain me in a way that’s fun and interesting. It’s just too easy to cheese the current system, but placing limits on my own activity just feels kind of silly.

Unfortunately there is no GM setting. The way I handle this is to employ my own "house rules", so as to make the game more difficult.

I also use 30 team control to make sure each team is functioning at its highest level.
