Had rain start falling after game had already started

Ok, this I've never seen before.

I was playing a game against the Royals, the weather showed rain and when the game started, Boog and Singleton talked about how rain was in the forecast but that it was dry for now.

So I played the first inning and it was dry. No rain drops. Start of the 2nd inning was dry as well, but in the middle of the inning the rain started falling. And it fell until the 8th inning when the game was delayed for 30 minutes then resumed with dry skies.

I have never seen, at least I do not recall, this ever happening previously this year. Maybe it has and I don't remember, or maybe I for whatever reason never have seen it until now.

Below is a video showing the dry first inning conditions and then the rain falling. I apologize for the technical issues, as I was fumbling thru showing this happening.

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I've had this happen a couple times this year, and it was cool to see when it did!

This just happened to me this week. It said it was a rain game but no rain when it started. Around the 3rd inning started raining.

I haven’t ran into that yet but I did have a game that had two rain delays, with that being said I had the first one probably within the first 4 or 5 innings and then I saved and exited. Picked up the same game either later that day or the next day and had another rain delay.
Both delays were long ones and I had to change pitchers both times. I figure that happened do to saving it and continuing later.

Similar to this, I didn't get a 2nd delay but I did have a game the other day with one delay, it was dry for a couple innings, and then started raining again.

Now the next step is that it can also completely clear up where the sun starts peaking through the clouds (or the other way around). And the infield reflects rain properly like in pro baseball spirits.

I had two rain delays when I would save and go back in. Sadly, I think it is just because of the save and reload that it happens. Actually, I don’t really recall it raining again after a rain delay. So saving it and reloading it must reset it.
