They need to fix pickles and defenders interaction with the wall in the outfield/foul territory. Classic teams/rosters would be amazing. Also need to be able to run an online franchise (with friends) and be able to invite friends to play as your opponent when/instead of playing CPU teams. Why this isn't an option is mind boggling to me.

1 - Y2Y saves in franchise.

2 - Fix the broken draft. Progression IRL does not match scouted progression resulting in too few MLB caliber players in future years. CPU team make very odd draft decisions.

I had an idea at one point for a story based franchise mode called The Expansion. Basically you could choose this story mode option, and the story would be about 2 new expansion teams in the mlb. There would be a pre defined list of locations for the team. Probably the top 10 most likely cities to get a team. You'd take on the role of owner of one team and the other would be the antagonist of the story. The goal would be to out perform the other tea, with various goals and milestones. At the beginning you'd be able to select your "class type". For example an eccentric billionaire/lifelong fan, former player partnered with a firm, the leader of a corporation. Each one would come with perks and penalties, such as the billionaire has deeper pockets but less knowledge about the game so it would take longer to scout or you'd have less information about the quality of staff you hire; former players would get player and scouting boosts but the least amount of funding; corporations would be more middle of the road but might have stiffer consequences for failed goals and milestones. All these things would affect things like fan accumulation, player acquisitions, and available funds for customizing a stadium.

Then the story could be similar in visual design as NBA 2k my player. Interactions with your rival, played out consequences of making or missing goals, etc.

Unlikely to ever be in the game though as it would require a lot of time and resources to complete.

It wouldn't surprise me if they drain more resources from franchise to do something like this.

•*Huge Graphic Updates (only hope they have been building on something secret for the last 4-5 years) Compared to Madden 25 it's pretty sad.

• Huge Animation Updates (no more run style 1 or 2) better take a look at Madden 25 so many fluid animations.

• Stadium Updates ( remove those lights from the last 10 years) thats not what lights look like again Madden 25 atmosphere, fog reference. Heck just move the engine to what ever Madden is using.

• Some how SDS knows if they don't show up this year on all cylinders its kind of game over everyone is talking about pro sports.

Sending them some good energy and vibes but yeah after playing Madden 25 I'm like what the have they been doing for the last 5-6 years graphically! I don't know better borrow one of those EA trucks and rigs! IMO!

MLBTS in the past has had a habit of not patching fixes into the current edition but instead waiting until next year's release to issue fixes as if the fix is a new feature.

They release plenty of patches during the year. Some would say too many, to the point the patches drastically alter gameplay after spending countless hours tweaking sliders. Everything doesn't get fixed tho, that's for sure. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

This is just unequivocally not true. There are usually like 15-20 patches every year fixing a variety of issues

Come on tessl. While not every bug gets fixed, they send out a good amount of patches monthly that has various additions, and fixes various issues.

My hope....the eras, like NBA 2k.

Ok, i know it's impossible to have a OOTP historic rosters in MLB the show, but it could be great playing franchise from late 2000 or in the sixties, etc...
