    Roster Gurus Questions

For awhile I’ve had the idea to create a roster in the spirit of OOTPs random debut feature but have a few questions before I get started:

Question 1: If I start in 24 will I be able to transfer players to 25 or will I have to start from scratch?

Question 2: If I start with a blank slate, all Joe Randoms at 60 OVR and the first real player I edit is a 90 OVR, will his OVR still be 90 when I’m finished creating all real players or will it change depending on newly created players?

Question 3: If I created a 40 man roster with remaining 53 being Joe Randoms at 60 OVR, in the offseason I assume an equal number of players will retire as the incoming draftees. Should I make the Joe Randoms worse OVR to make sure they’re the ones that retire? Or should I make them much older than the real players?

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    1. You will have to start from scratch. As far as I know there is no way to port rosters.

    2. Overalls are player dependent only. One guy being a 90 OVR has no bearing on another players overall. It’s not like OOTP in this regard. It’s not league relative.

    3. This would need some testing. Only so many players retire a year regardless of bad overalls and ages. You’ll see plenty of 12 OVR Joe Randoms hang around.

Question 3, I would make them all 45 years age and make each of their attribute ratings a 33.
