From my experience, the game looks drastically better on the PS5.

I would say the word "drastically" is a huge stretch.

I have had the game on both systems in recent years due to gamepass, and I notice very negligible differences and I have a pretty souped up OLED tv that allows max settings.

If anything, the game actually runs a tad bit faster on Xbox than PS. But that does not have to do with the look of the game.

I think I misunderstood, I meant the difference between the PS4 and the PS5.

If that's the case, I'm done with this franchise. Not dropping $700 on a new console just to get this game to look somewhat like a current gen game.

I don't know if it will be better graphically than '24 or to what degree obviously but thinking about it,I'm sure Sony wouldn't mind if people felt the need to put out $700 for a PRO to get that upgrade.

My guess would be it's enhanced for PS5 pro but regular PS5 and XSX should likely be pretty much the same.

If you mean you bought a Pro then it certainly should be noticeably better.I doubt regular PS5 and XSX will be as they typically are much the same.

The Show 24 looked better on Series X last year as it was full 4K 120hz, (which I believe is technically actually 60hz anyway) which it was not for PS5. I assume PS5 Pro Enhanced features will match or slightly exceed that.

That’s why I don’t think they mentioned anything about XBox visuals since PS5 dragged behind slightly last year.

While it does note "Pro Enhanced" on the PS page, it also just says "PS5" in the specific area where it says graphic enhancements. I wish SDS would clarify but they probably won't.

I took "on a PS5 console" to mean all PS5 consoles, not just the pro. But that could be wrong. We won't know unless SDS decides to address it.

Looking in the xbox store I noticed that the deluxe edition states optimized for x/s but the standard edition does not.
Maybe dumb question but shouldn’t all versions be optimized since there is no longer last gen option for Xbox/playstation?

Anybody with better gaming knowledge can inform an old gamer on the difference if any?

It’s still optimized for Series S, but since the system is less powerful, some of the details won’t carry over as they do on the X. For example the graphics will be slightly scaled down and last year the hair movement wasn’t available on the S for some reason even though it was on the X. Hopefully that changes this year as I play on both.

I find it strange they wouldn't have the same improvements on XSX, but if that's the case, I guess my run with The Show is over.

The ps5 pro is the "improvement"

the ps5 and Series X will be the same(like always a bit better than 24 year). ps5 pro will be the best visual experiece in theory.
