Watching a little of the diamond dynasty stream today, and I must say the grass/dirt is looking better. Excited to see what it looks like actually playing the game.

The grass looks way better (actual 3d) when pitching where in previous games you would see some random blades of grass stick out of the tarmac like grass.

Really liking it, and this is even from the Twitch stream so it will probably look even better on your own tv straight from the game. I complained a lot past couple of years so credit where credit is due [emoji2277]

Nice upgrades! I hope they upgraded the trees to be 3D as well. In my opinion, the trees were much worse than the grass, but of course less prominent due to most of the field being grass.Comment

If you ask me they should update all the exterior surroundings. At least for all the MLB stadiums. Some textures or objects look ps2 era stuff."When it's all set and done, reality is the best innovation."Comment

Agree, some stadiums if you replay a HR and pause it when the ball is in the air the area outside the stadium looks like an apocalyptic wasteland.Comment

Re: Grass and Dirt in MLB The Show 25 discussion
This is why we aren’t getting it though. The default cameras barely show anything outside the stadium except a few of the updated shots where they actually did work on (like Fenway/Yankee Stadium). Outside of that, you rarely see anything outside the stadium unless you go into replay yourself and actually look for things. So they purposely want to keep you within the stadium since that’s where almost all of the action is.Comment
