Damn, that was great. I swear, everytime I'm out stealing second, I blame my dumb-*** runner. He'll beat the throw, but he doesn't know how to get his hand on the bag quickly. Its like he's waiting to be tagged before he wants to touch base.
    T-BONE.

    Talking about things nobody cares.

I've noticed that the animations don't always line up with the call. I swear sometimes it looks like the runner is 6 inches from the bag and the ball is not to second yet and he is called out. The eye test looks like he should be safe by a good amount, but he is called out. It is an area they certainly need to tighten up and maybe 25 will do that.

I don't know what you have this setting on or if it would even make a difference in what you're describing, but there is an option in the gameplay settings for 'UMPIRE CLOSE PLAYS" and having it set to on will result in umpires at times missing plays on the bases.

I've seen this happen, and I've been convinced my guy was safe, then I zoomed in on the replay and noticed that my guy actually wasn't touching the base on the slide.

I agree...it's like when he gets close to the base somehow the animation seems to slow up or something. I mean, my eyes tell me oh, he's going to be safe easily only to be called out. It's an irritant for me for sure, but one I am confident they can tighten up.

Yes, I do have that setting on I believe. But it seems to happen almost all the time. I will check the setting though. I do think it is just an animation issue.
