Predicting the Highest Rated Pitchers in MLB The Show 25

    97 Overall

    -Tarik Skubal, SP, LHP, Tigers
    -Chris Sale, SP, LHP, Braves

I don’t think anyone would have predicted this a year ago. Skubal put up a short but incredibly sweet 2023, but most people assumed it was a fluke and he would be a one-year wonder, and MLB The Show only gave him an 86 overall. We knew he had a high upside, but his 2.80 ERA and 0.896 WHIP that year seemed unsustainable.

Who will be the top pitchers in MLB the Show 25? we try are best to predict the best arms in the game.

Skubal is on another level man. Being a Tigers fan, I could see his potential early on, and he has completely blown past my expectations

I think Skubal will be a 99 not a 97. By the last live roster update in 24 he had hit 99 overall and I don't see why November to February he would have done anything to fall even one point. Sony should have went with two covers, one AL Gunnar and Skubal cover and one NL Elly and Skenes cover.
      T-BONE.

      Talking about things nobody cares.

While Kyler doesn't talk tons about it, I think it's fair to remember SDS' general "three-year rule" for ratings where they're taking multiple seasons into account.
