Lol, I see that snow icon, and I start thinking this dude's in my doghouse and if he don't straighten up and fly right, he might wind up on the trading block.
    T-BONE.

Meaning if I play all my games, my pitchers will lead the league in K's and my batters will lead the league in SO's like they did in '24? And the simmed stats for the rest of the league will be an older version of the MLB, all the while my played games are a modern version?

If that's the case, sorry, I can't do it anymore.
K’s you can get around. There are rosters that fix the DD/Offline roster issues that cause the K/9s for all offline pitchers to be too low. I do it myself before starting my franchise.

The other simmed stats will be a little off. You can get around some with sliders like SP innings and CGs/SOs, but the others will still be the same. That wasn’t the focus for them this year, hopefully next year now that the financial and draft base is completed.

Do you have a formula you use for the manual k/9 adjustments? Or just by vibes? I haven't seen a true workaround that feels "fair" yet.

Personally, I find that when I have a player or multiple guys on cold streaks, there's a lot more weak contact, and if I get a guy hot, they hit bombs.

Could 100% just be in my mind though.
In my experience, cold streaks are almost impossible to come out of. Everything is either weak, hit right at someone, or caught on the warning track when you think they'll get a HR. Hot streaks, if it's with a top player get kind of stupid IMO. Judge for example, when he gets hot, it gets ridiculous. Like he hit .430 for the month of April in my game last year. I'd rather the hot and cold streaks not be so extreme to be honest.

I want to rely on stuff like that more than anything else to determine who starts and who sits, so I wish I could opt out of seeing overall values.
Agree. Also, would love the box score updated from the current 1950 format.

They need to show LOB like they do now for each player.

Omg this. High Heat had better box scores 20 years ago. Drives me nuts.

Re: MLB The Show 25 Franchise Mode In-Depth Breakdown

I want to be excited about this game but I haven't really heard one thing that has moved me in any of the in depth articles. It seems like the writers are fishing for positives and over-emphasizing simple things like, free agency signings and contract types. Truthfully, I really don't find this generation of ball players all that interesting enough to care about. I miss the Ricky Hendersons, Darryl Strawberrys and the Wade Boggs of the past. Baseball players had real personalities and spoke English. This generation of International talent doesn't really move me therefore, free agency and contract things don't really matter to me. Give me some franchise building and branding options. Give me some dynamic price changes and stadium building. Some real relocation options. Sponsorship opportunities and dynamic control over city growth. Off season, let me run rookies through drills to improve their skills and team chemistry. Give me real team practice options that I can actually play. Manager/owner/player communications that go beyond text messaging. Let me have some post play throw around options instead of the cpu taking over once the catch is made and removing the user from having control. Make the game fun to play and stop telling me about adding new animations that you barely get to see due to the lack of real user control.
